The Tahunanui Modellers Pond is one of Nelson’s iconic seaside attractions, and has been a much loved community asset for many years.
The pond is in need of an upgrade to secure its future, and after several reports and recommendations over many years, the Nelson City Council has agreed to upgrade the pond with the help of community contributions.
We are seeking pledges from the community to contribute to the project.
Pledges will be added to the funds that have been collected so far by the modellers society, and will be called upon when the pond upgrade begins.
